You’re not really hungry. You could go without that second bite. Drink your water and throw it in the bin. You don’t need the burden it brings. You don’t deserve the guilt these bites bring.
You’re right, it’s easier to eat the cookies than to work out. It’s easier to eat the greasy foods than to watch someone else sacrifice their body for it. You’re right, it’s so much easier. But is it worth it? Is it worth the connivence if the mirror reflects a body you despise? I can’t make you choose the harder path, but I can guarantee that you’ll be glad you did.
Starving makes you perfect. It makes you pure. The emptiness feels better than any drug imaginable. The rush of adrenaline you get as you see the numbers fall away is worth every calorie you discarded. Why make this bliss go away for a food that you can eat later?
